Understanding the Costs of Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy: Investing in Your Mental Well-Being

Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) has emerged as a transformative treatment option for individuals seeking relief from treatment-resistant mental health conditions. As with any form of therapy, it is essential to consider the costs associated with KAP. Here we will explore the pricing structure of KAP sessions and the value they provide in supporting your mental well-being.

  1. Initial Session: The first step in embarking on your KAP journey is the initial session, which is priced at $400. This comprehensive appointment includes 45 minutes with the therapist to discuss your concerns, goals, and treatment plan. Additionally, you will have 45 minutes with a psychiatrist to assess your medical history, determine the appropriateness of ketamine treatment, and discuss any medication-related questions or concerns. These two sessions are usually held at two different times that work for you and the professionals.

  2. Cost of Ketamine: The cost of ketamine itself can vary depending on dosage, types and amounts. On average, the cost typically ranges from $80 to $150. It is important to note that the cost of ketamine is not included in the package price.

  3. KAP Therapy Sessions: A 90-minute therapy session with ketamine self administered with a trained therapist is priced at $250. These sessions provide a supportive and therapeutic environment to guide you through the ketamine experience, facilitate emotional exploration, and promote healing.

  4. Therapy Sessions without Ketamine: In cases where ketamine is not administered during a session, a 50-minute therapy session with a therapist is available for $150. These sessions focus on traditional therapeutic techniques, helping you work through your mental health challenges and develop coping strategies.

  5. Psychiatrist Consultations*: Regular check-ins with a psychiatrist are a vital part of the KAP process. These consultations occur every 30 days and cost $100. The psychiatrist will monitor your progress, address any concerns, and ensure your treatment plan remains appropriate and effective. *Some psychiatry appointments will be virtual.

  6. KAP Package: We offer a comprehensive KAP package priced at $2,000, which includes the initial session with both the therapist and psychiatrist*, one 90-minute KAP session with ketamine with the therapist per week for two months and a follow-up appointment with the psychiatrist 30 days after the initial consultation. It is important to note that the cost of ketamine itself is not included in the package price. *Some psychiatry appointments will be virtual.

Investing in your mental well-being is a valuable and worthwhile endeavor. While the costs associated with ketamine-assisted psychotherapy should be considered, it is essential to recognize the potential benefits and transformative impact it can have on your life. By exploring the various pricing options and packages available, you can make an informed decision that aligns with your budget and treatment goals.

Remember, the benefits of KAP extend far beyond the financial investment. The opportunity to find relief from treatment-resistant conditions, gain valuable insights, and achieve long-lasting mental wellness is invaluable. Prioritize your mental health by exploring the costs of KAP and consulting with professionals who can guide you through this transformative journey.
